Return & Refund Policy
At Elaine’s Roots of Beauty, quality and customer satisfaction are important to us. Due to the nature of our hair and lace products and for sanitary and hygiene purposes, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for reasons including, but not limited to, change of mind, ordering the incorrect length or texture, no longer needing the hair, or dissatisfaction after the product has been altered, installed, worn, washed, colored, bleached, cut, or otherwise manipulated.
Please carefully review your order, including the product, texture, length, lace type, and quantity, before completing your purchase.
Incorrect or Defective Items
Although all sales are final, if you believe you received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us at info@elainesrootsofbeauty.com within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
Please include:
- Your full name and order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos and/or video showing the product and concern
- Photos of the original packaging, when applicable
The product must remain unused, unworn, unwashed, uninstalled, uncut, uncolored, unbleached, and otherwise unaltered while the issue is being reviewed.
Removing or altering tags, bands, lace, wefts, packaging seals, or otherwise using or modifying the product may prevent us from properly verifying the issue.
Submitting a claim does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement. Each eligible claim will be reviewed individually.
If we confirm that an incorrect item was sent or that the product has a qualifying defect, Elaine’s Roots of Beauty will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Because orders may begin processing shortly after they are placed, order changes and cancellations are not guaranteed.
If you notice an error with your order, please contact info@elainesrootsofbeauty.com as soon as possible. If processing has already begun we may be unable to modify or cancel the order.
Hair Texture & Appearance
Because our products are made from human hair, slight variations in texture, wave pattern, or appearance may occur. These natural variations alone are not considered defects.
Please also keep in mind that hair may appear slightly different depending on lighting, styling, washing, or the device/display used when viewing product photos.
Coloring, Bleaching & Chemical Processing
Virgin human hair can be professionally colored or bleached; however, chemical processing changes the condition of the hair.
Elaine’s Roots of Beauty is not responsible for damage resulting from improper coloring, bleaching, chemical processing, excessive heat, improper installation, or inadequate maintenance.
We recommend having chemical services performed by a licensed professional.
